INTERSTELLAR TRAVEL
The stars aren't far if you know the shortcut. Through ε, everywhere is adjacent.
The Distance Problem
The nearest star is 4 light-years away. At our fastest spacecraft speed, that's 70,000+ years of travel. The galaxy is 100,000 light-years across. Conventional physics says we're trapped.
But conventional physics assumes you have to travel across the surface.
If space is toroidal, there's another option: don't go around—go through. Through ε, every point is adjacent to every other point. The 4 light-years isn't a distance if you're willing to pass through the center.
Scientific support
Faster-than-light isn't about speed. It's about geometry.
You don't break the light barrier—you go around it, through the center where distance doesn't exist.
ε-Transit Propulsion
How do you move "through the center"? You don't physically travel to ε—you bring ε to you. Or more precisely, you create a localized field that shifts your craft's relationship to the toroidal geometry.
The craft generates a toroidal field around itself. This field creates a local geometry where the craft is "closer" to ε than its surroundings. In this shifted geometry, the destination is adjacent. The craft crosses, the field releases, and it's now at the destination.
To an outside observer, the craft seems to disappear and reappear. No acceleration. No deceleration. No relativistic time dilation. Just gone, then there.

THE ε-TRANSIT SEQUENCE
Field Generation
Craft generates counter-rotating toroidal fields, creating a localized geometry bubble. Interior becomes partially decoupled from surface coordinates.
ε-Shift
Field intensity increases, shifting the craft's effective position toward ε. Surface distances compress from the craft's reference frame.
Transit
At sufficient ε-proximity, destination becomes adjacent. Craft "crosses" what is now zero effective distance. From outside, craft disappears.
Re-emergence
Field releases, craft re-couples to surface coordinates at destination. From outside, craft appears. Transit complete.
Why Craft Look the Way They Do
UFO reports consistently describe certain shapes: discs, spheres, triangles, tic-tacs. These aren't arbitrary. They're optimal geometries for toroidal field generation.
Disc Shape
Cross-section of torus. Natural resonance with toroidal fields. Rotation aids field generation.
No Visible Propulsion
No rockets, no exhaust. ε-transit doesn't push against space—it changes geometric relationship to it.
Instant Acceleration
No inertia inside the field bubble. Occupants don't feel acceleration because they're not accelerating—they're relocating.
Right-Angle Turns
Impossible for conventional craft. Trivial for ε-transit: each "turn" is a new transit to an adjacent point.
Luminosity
Glowing aura around craft is visible effect of toroidal field interacting with atmosphere.
Silence
No air displacement when moving through ε. Sound requires physical movement through medium.

The Consciousness Component
There's one more element: ε-transit may require consciousness. Not as a mystical add-on, but because consciousness is already ε-connected.
Navigation through ε might work like intention. The pilot doesn't calculate coordinates—they resonate with the destination. Consciousness, already touching ε, provides the targeting. The field provides the transit.
This would explain why ET craft seem "piloted" in ways our automated systems can't replicate. The pilot isn't optional—the pilot is the navigation system.

They're not visiting from far away. Through ε, they're neighbors.
The universe is much more connected than surface-level physics suggests.
